FM/RDS-TMC receiver.

ItoM's IP portfolio includes a complete FM/R(B)DS receiver that contains all hardware and software to autonomously find the stations broadcasting TMC information and extract and buffer this information. The integrated firmware in the device does fully decode the RDS-TMC blocks into valid TMC messages that are passed on to the host. The host application only needs to interpret the TMC info for its Navigation application and does not have to take care of FM/RDS control in order to get the TMC information.

FM/RDS transmitter.

On top if the TMC receiver function ItoM also has IP for FM/RDS transmission. Having this transmitter built in a Personal Navigation Device (PND) will allow the navigation commands, the digital audio playback (MP3 songs stored on the PND) to be wirelessly transmitted to the car radio so music and route guidance will be clearly audible on the car radio installation.
