Unique IP Solution for (mobile) TelevisionWith its extensive portfolio of dedicated IP, ItoM can put a complete television function on silicon. This has lead to a fully integrated, multi-standard (PAL, NTSC, SECAM) mobile TV-chip with no external components that delivers composite video out as well as the full sound channel (AM and FM). This terrestrial IC was made in a BiCMOS technologie and consumes 300 mW. It can also be used for medium sized CRT TVs with cable connections

What makes this ItoM IP Solution superior?
The various IP solutions used (e.g. harmonic suppression, LNA, FPHF, Mixer and oscillator patents) allowed ItoM to make a unique part that suited the mobile TV reception with great sensitivity, long battery life and perfect sound. The unique ItoM software for color decoding on general purpose processors not only gives razor sharp pictures but also superior Teletext reception.

In the mean time ItoM has designed a 65 nm RF CMOS part that comprises both analog TV as well as a number of new digital TV standards like DVB-H, DVB-T, CMMB, ATSC, MediaFLO, TDMB, ISDBT.
